Confidence in the Room:
Myofascial Work for the Hips, Glutes and Groin
Price: $160
Date: Saturday July 25, 2026 - 9am - 6pm (8 hours)
Lake Stevens, WA at Spectrum Center School of Massage
You know these areas matter, but do you still find yourself avoiding them? You're not alone.
This class is for recent graduates who want to improve their intake conversations, build and communicate treatment plans, and add new myofascial techniques and routines for the glutes and groin.
For seasoned professionals who know working the glutes and groin can be beneficial, but find themselves just gliding over them and not including as much treatment work. Refresh your techniques and client conversations and revisit how you want to integrate the glutes and groin into your current practice.
What’s stopping you from working there?
For many therapists, the challenge isn't anatomy, or knowing it matters. The challenge is integrating them into treatment confidently, comfortably, and consistently. That's exactly what this workshop is designed to help you do.

Clarity instead of confusion
Learn when and how to obtain informed consent, and have ongoing consent conversations about the glutes and groin.
You’ll leave with practical language to discuss treatment options, and help clients understand why these areas may be relevant to their care.
Confidence instead of doubt
Doubt while working the glutes and groin feels uncomfortable at best—and unsafe at worst.
Through discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice, you'll build confidence working with the hips, glutes, and groin professionally, thoughtfully, and effectively.
Integration instead of avoidance
Learn to see the hip as part of the system as a whole.
You'll develop practical myofascial frameworks for incorporating glute and groin work into treatment plans for both relaxation and injury-focused sessions, helping you create more complete and effective care.

Hello, my name is Leia
I'm the owner of Practical Renewal Massage in Everett, Washington.
I'm excited to spend the day helping you build confidence working in vulnerable areas, move beyond treatment routines, and refine your own approach to bodywork. My goal isn't to teach you a sequence to memorize, but to help you develop the skills to make thoughtful treatment decisions based on the person in front of you. We'll focus on communication, observation, testing, and practical skills you can use right away in your practice.
In my private practice, I primarily work with clients managing chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, and complex treatment goals. The techniques I use vary widely, but often include myofascial work, manual lymph drainage, assisted stretch, scar tissue treatment, and trigger point therapy.
